The weather has been oppressive. Hot, sticky and dark, but no rain to relieve the pressure. Tolly especially feels it when it is like this.

Late yesterday evening I tried to get a Game going.

I had just said Tolly, you want to Play? And wiggled a toy enticingly

After trying any number of wand toys, fur mice, crumpled papers and peacock feathers.....

Oh thats funny! Just too much exertion for him. My kitties are finally coming around after 101.9 here on Thursday. And I am in the north country.

He looks how we all felt!!

Any relief yet?

It rained quite a bit in the night, so I was hoping it would be fresher today, but it is still heavy and humid and dark. It's not supposed to be as hot today, but that sky is still hanging low low low.

I use the a/c when it hits 80 in the house, or even if it just gets too humid, and that makes it comfortable inside but he still feels the pressure of the heaviness outside (I do, too)

Plus I can't stand being all shut up with that noisy a/c running for too long. I always turn it off by 9 p.m.

Tolly is so handsome!
Poor little overheated man.. We've been lucky, I haven't even had to use the AC because we've been getting rain every evening and cool nights!

Thanks everyone. Tolly really feels the heat, worse than the other two cats, because of the anti-seizure medicine.

Poor Tolly! I recognize that look! I try to get Maia inspired but she is sprawled out, belly up, on the floor with no interest
. My AC died yesterday so we put in a new one last night, the difference is night and day! We have been rainless for weeks which would really help cool everything off......
