Boy, sometimes Bugsy goes into a non-stop kneading fit at the wee times in the morning - last night at 3am... I was trying to put the blanket by my arm, but he sure got the skin quite a few times

Who can resist that cute purring face though awww

I wonder why he does that for so long - anybody has an opinion on it? He can go on and on and on....... fooorrreeeeeeeever! Seriously - the boy gets a work out!

Here is the video - sorry about the quality and my groggy voice - you will probably going to have a hard time understanding me - I took from my cell phone and I was very very sleepy!

Adorable! So cute, but can be frustrating at the same time. Hannah's my middle of the night snuggle bug, complete with the kneading.

That is too cute! Bugsy looks barely awake himself...

Yes, I also have a middle-of-the-night kneader, though Holland will generally let me sleep until around 5am...
When she decides she's ready for breakfast she will sit on my chest or shoulder (depending on how I am sleeping) and stare at me. If that doesn't work, she goes back under the covers and kneads me - I basically wear old worn out clothes to bed now because of it.

I can't get annoyed though, because when she kneads me it's practically the only time I can hear her purring unless I put my head to her body. She doesn't say much and is a very quiet purrer - I always tell her she's got a broken motor!

Cute video. Maybe Bugsy is sleepwalking...like he's dreaming he is walking to PetSmart. When they sleep all day, they get up at night. Sam does that too. She is a LOUD purrer. Her other habit is to lick my eyebrows. Needless to say that gets ya up.

I do. I only have one cat, but she is crazy, so counts for maybe 3.

Aw, Bugsy is so cute. He looks like he's sleep-kneading! My boys don't actually sleep with me because I'm allergic so the bedroom is the one place they are not allowed. Otherwise, I am sure at least one of them would do that (Raven) while the other sat on my head and groomed himself (Shadow). They do that when I nap on the couch.

A soon as I head for the bedroom at night Nia is running in ahead of me waiting on the bed. Once in bed she spends anywhere from 5 to over 30 minutes kneading in the crook of my arm.

The rest of the night she is either sleeping on top of me or wedged up against me somewhere in the bed. She usually gets in some more kneading once or twice during the night when she repositions.
