I don't know how to get in touch with anyone about this other than posting here?

That happened to me. Don't click those links! You'll get what is called Tracking Cookies. They track the pages you visit and such.

I sent one of the mods a PM last night when it happened to me. I just read the PM, didn't click the links. It was weird because they said they noticed I had just joined the site and I have been a member here for at least five years. I could see that person had just joined yesterday.

I got two of these messages! It is sad that someone feels it necessary to do such a thing. I hope no one falls for it.
