Morning peeps!

Well, my friend is now 5 days over due..I hope baby comes soon!

It is another heat wave day today. We are going golfing after work with the office crowd. It's gonna be a hot night. Then after we go to a bbq at my ex-bosses house.

Another warm day. Think i better get some washing done when i get home because i think were in for a downpour tomorrow!.

Housework as soon as the machines on!

Morning all!!!

Its gonna be a hot one here too...Thankfully not as hot as yesterday so the boys are getting their baths outside at the hose. Tomorrow is BFs first payday and unfortunately added to that we are watching his brothers pug. But we found out the 4 Wheel Jamboree is this weekend and we are going to go for a couple hours on Saturday. We want to find good deals on, rims, tires and parts for the 66 Ford F-100 we are going to restore for ourselves...(NOT Bfs dad..woohoo) It is going to be a fun day!!
We got a flyer yesterday in the mail about the Bloomsburg Fair and since BF and I have never been to a concert we are going to buy tickets next week to see REO Speedwagon. I have no clue who they are but I remember Dean singing one of their songs on Supernatural so how bad can they be...Woo hoo my first concert EVER! *I love bf having a job we can actually do stuff that doesnt involve McDonalds dollar menu!*

Wow still no Baby Nat? When will they induce her? They didn't let anyone I know go beyond 2 days late around here.

Good morning. It's hot hot hot. I can't see out the windows b/c of the condensation. Looking forward to retail therapy after DH gets home. Still have to figure out dinner but it might be take out.

A few friends have major tests today. I hope it goes well for them. You know who you are.

Mom ran into my father at work yesterday. She usually avoids him. She had blocked his car in so she couldn't. He finally asked about me after 10 years. He was shocked to learn I have a son. We kept it from him. Non of us business. Found out my Grandmom is 93 and living with her adoptive daugther. She is mentally all there but physically falling apart. She has no muscle control

Still no baby. They induce here at 10 days. So she will be induced on the 14th I believe.

I didn't know that about your dad. I know the feeling, my dad doesn't even know my birthday

Maybe? I know I mentioned that my grandmom called all confused. We had spoken in 10 years and it was just strange. They say her mental state is ok but she was confused that day. My dad goes to the dentist mom works at but she hides in her office when she knows he has an appointment. Yes I remember. He made an appointment for my birthday.

We just don't have a relationship. I ended it when I was in High School. Oddly he remembers Birthdays just fine but acknowledging them is another story. It does help that his Bday is June 25th so only a few days before mine.

When I first read the post I thought that Mrs. Nat was pregnant!!

Anyhow its overcast and more rain esp this morning. We got another inch since yesterday. I think we got a couple of inches since the start of July. Humidity will exit the state later this evening thankfully. Mosquitos out in full force though.

Work today then perhaps some gardening after work depending on how bad the mosquitos are. Back stiff still though I slept rather well last night.

Today's my fifty-ninth Birthday! Wohoo! It's also the day that my sister is moving in with me. To tell you the truth, I'm not looking forward to that part of the day but I guess I'll get used to it after living for about four months by myself, though I certainly did enjoy the living by myself part.(G).

Busy day at work today as I finally got access back to an application I use here at work. It's been down for a month, so I have a whole backlog of work to do.

Lots of housework to do tonight and then playtime with all the new foster kitties.

Busy day today, early start with school, then to the office to write up a report, then home to frantically get a quote for homeowners insurance which no one told us we needed for escrow... I want to close on our house tomorrow!!! It might not be til THURSDAY now, because if it's not tomorrow, it can't be til Thursday. BF is out of town Mon-Wed presenting a paper at the ASME conference in Chicago. FRUSTRATIONS!! NERVES!!

So we had an earthquake yesterday afternoon, I guess it was a small one, but if i can feel it, I classify it as big. I don't like them.

Well, have a good day everyone, I'm off to study/read for a while. Then off to meet the Hopheads tonight at a new bar downtown with a pretty decent tap list. Nice!

Happy birthday Cattybird!!

Today has been a craptastic day, wooo. So ready for the weekend.

It was the first time I've ever given blood. Yeah I've given a small vial for blood tests before, but today was the first donation. AAAAAND the last. I've never weighed enough (and am now 113) and/or had a tattoo done out of state (today was exactly 1 year since I got it) and never could donate. I felt bad because only ~15 people signed up and they were aiming for ~49. Answered all the questions, yadda ya. They stuck me with the needle, no blood. Couldn't find my vein and started digging around inside my arm with the needle. Holy heck! They finally got the blood flowing and told me I probably wouldn't be able to fill a bag. I filled that bag at near record speed! They gave me some water to drink while donating, and I drank it pretty quickly. Cant have drinks in the lab so I'm usually sort of thirsty. She stopped the blood flow and the world started getting black around the edges and I started feeling nauseous. Gave me a giant red bag, and I believe the water is what made me feel so sick stomach-wise, since I downed it rather quickly. Told myself to throw up because I knew it would make me feel better (sort of like when you're super drunk

) Sure enough it made me feel great. Spent a few more minutes laying down then went back to work with a diet coke and pretzels.

My arm hurts like crazy where they dug around with that needle. Then my boss called me back to work yesterday while I was at the beach to re do a batch of samples due out today. I did it, was at work til 6, and he tells the analyst today that it doesnt need to be done until tomorrow

Driving my car to my eye appointment, starts overheating. ALL the coolant leaked out where the clamp wasn't secured well. Drove back to work and filled it with a hose outside the building then drove to hubby's work so he could look at it.

Now I'm hot and sweaty and done ranting about my day in the daily thread

So ready to go home, hope hubby tows the car even though its working now, because he has the truck and trailer anyway and I dont feel like driving!
