Just to let you all know that I spoke to Jenny this afternoon and she is out of the op and fine, even though in quite a lot of pain. She should be in there for another 4/5 days, so some healing vibes going her way

Oh good, I have been thinking of her. Glad to hear she is doing well. Hopefully they can control the pain to a good degree.

Tell her Farleyv is pulling for her. I hope that the situation with the cats goes smoothly.

Hang in there Jenny! You will be better than ever when you heal.

I'm SO glad to hear this, I've been thinking of her too. The pain is unavoidable, but I'm so happy to hear that everything is going well!!

Thank you everyone for your vibes and best wishes. I got home Sunday night and slept for 24 hours! Now comes the hard work of 're-education' as the French have it. It is wonderful to be home. though using my crutches on the stairs is proving a bit hard as my stairs are much steeper than the ones in hospital. The pain is much less now and bearable, though I have to go through 30 days of daily injections in the stomach against blood clots forming. But I am being as active as I can be so there is not much chance of that. The worst is going to be not driving for two months. And in October the surgeon will decide when I can have the other one done!
