It's out of our hands?

This just might surprise a few people...but this time I'm the one that has to call "Mule Muffins!" on this one.

The White House has said the decision to challenge Arizona's immigration law was out of its hands, left completely up to Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. and the lawyers at the Justice Department.

Do they REALLY expect people to believe that?

My opinion is come November he is going to find out just how much folks don't believe. I especially like the comment on page two where it says he is going to continually remind folks that it is those like John McCain standing in the way of a comprehensive Federal Immigration policy. Blame it on somebody else. That always makes you look good, yeah right.

He could tell his believers the world is ending tomorrow, and they would believe it.

There is no end to the gall of this man.

Yeah right! Especially considering that he SAID that he wanted to bring the lawsuit. Well, at least that he thought the law was unconstitutional. If he really wanted to stop it, he could. One word and Holder would have acquiesced to his wishes.

Wasn't it John McCain that introduced the bill with Ted Kennedy that had something to do with immigration...? Oh right! It WAS him! And the bill was about comprehensive immigration reform! And it was summarily shot down by the American people who yelled loud enough that both Republicans AND Democrats soundly rejected the bill.

Guess we aren't supposed to remember that...

Absolutely. The AG serves at the President's pleasure. If it were a criminal case and would give the appearance of obstruction of justice, I could see the "hands off" attitude. But this hardly fits that bill. This strikes me as nothing more than a "don't blame me for the things I do" kind of statement.

Question:

Is there anyone who voted for this man that isn't sorely disappointed in him now? Seems like he's even worse than the Right feared, and the Left is left scratching their heads in disillusionment.

Any warm and fuzzies I ever felt for Oprah have disappeared. I know that it is human nature to never want to admit you were wrong, but I'd love to see more people who voted for him admit that they wouldn't do it again.

Yep, my warm and fuzzies are pretty much gone. I am hearing more and more people who voted for him regret it now.

My sister's oldest son voted for him because he like the "change" idea. Now he has change his mind and has seen all the change he wants to see.

This is a documentary by Gigi Gaston, a DEMOCRAT, about the voter fraud that occurred in 2008 that deprived Hillary of the nomination.

Quote:
This documentary is about the disenfranchising of American citizens by the Democratic Party and the Obama Campaign. We the People have made this film. Democrats have sent in their stories from all parts of America. We want to be heard and let the country know how our party has sanctioned the actions of what we feel are Obama Campaign "Chicago Machine" dirty politics. We believe this infamous campaign of "change" from Chicago encouraged and created an army to steal caucus packets, falsify documents, change results, allow unregistered people to vote, scare and intimidate Hillary supporters, stalk them, threaten them, lock them out of their polling places, silence their voices and stop their right to vote, which is, of course, all documented in "We Will Not Be Silenced."

"We Will Not Be Silenced" is about the people who fight back by simply telling their stories: Teachers, professors, civil rights activists, lawyers, janitors, physicists, ophthalmologists, accountants, mathematicians, retirees - all bound together by their love of America and Democracy. They will tell us their experiences and how they feel betrayed by their own party. They will discuss how their party has disenfranchised them and how, when they saw and reported multiple instances of fraud, everyone turned a blind eye. Rather than support and protect the voices and votes of its loyal members, the DNC chose to sweep this under the rug by looking the other way, or using ceremony and quasi-investigations to assuage angry voters. It is our opinion there never before has been such a "dirty" campaign; the campaign that has broken the hearts and spirits of American voters, who once believed in the Democractic voting system.

I didn't drink the koolaid. Even though people were persuading me to vote for him.

I do remember seeing Hillary on TV at one time, her voice raised and heated. She was at a podium saying "Shame on you Barack Obama. SHAME on you." It was around that time, 2008. I don't remember the context - probably this - but it made me giggle.
