When should I take Lola in for her next fvrcp vaccine?

She is approximately 9 weeks old, born around May 6th.

She had her first shot at approx 7 weeks on June 18th.

I was originally planning on fostering her so I took her in to the rescue groups vet but I have decided to keep her and want her to get her next vaccinations at the vet clinic I use for the boys. When should I schedule her next shot? I was thinking around the 16th?

She could probably go ahead and have it done soon. But why not call the vet and ask what they prefer for the particular vaccines they're using?

Have you decided if you're going to do only core vacs? Or will you do FeLv, too? (If her only companions are your healthy boys she can't get it)

Typically, depending on the vet, the boosters are done every 3-4 weeks until the kitten is 12-16 weeks of age(depending on when they started the vaccines).

My vet personally waits till 10 weeks but I know the general thought is start them at 8 weeks and do a 3 shot series

I haven't called yet because I wasn't sure if I should take her back to their vet for the rest of her shots or the vet we use. It shouldn't matter right? I prefer my own vet. They are friendly and helpful and I can't say the same about the other one I saw.

I haven't done FeLv for the boys yet. My vet said it was only necessary if they were outdoor cats. I think I might take all 3 in for the FeLv vaccine though just to be safe! I will inquire further when I take Lola in for her shots.

Your vet is correct. Indoor or cats in a enclosure that aren't out fighting/breeding with infected cats are at no risk. Just spaying and neutering greatly reduces risk of cats that are allowed to roam outside. Unless you plan to foster or bring untested cats inside in the future.

If you didn't like the other vet, go with yours. Give them a call and see when they want to see Lola.

When you should give a booster depends on the vaccine. Our rescue vaccinates our kitties ourselves, as long as they're healthy, and we give a booster 3-4 weeks after the first one as the vaccine instructions say. I believe 3-4 weeks is pretty standard but as I understand it some other vaccines have different instructions and may even require more than one booster.
I'd recommend that you call the clinic where you had your kitten vaccinated the first time as they will know what the specification of their vaccine is. I don't believe it matters if you have the booster done at your vet or the rescue's vet.

Ask the vet who is taking care of the cat.

Thanks all. I called my vet today and they administer the shots every 4 weeks so she will be in again around the 18th of the month.

I wouldn't do the FeLV unless they are at high risk of infection. Maude was vaccinated twice in her life(that we know of) for it. Once she was being boarded(just to be on the safe side) and then when Attitude and Nuts were brought inside(they are both FeLV positive.) She never would have received it if neither of those situations arose. My vet really doesn't recommend it. They'll only give it if it's requested. I wouldn't do it and keep in mind I have 2 positive cats(they were infected either in the womb or shortly thereafter.) Only if they go outside or are around untested(or positive, which should never happen if you know they are infected, my story is hard to explain, Maude was never infected she was still negative when she crossed the bridge) cats.
