Morning friends!

It is hotter than Hades out there today..34 degrees no including the humidex. It's going to be 40 later on with the humidity. So, that's 100F believe.

Off to work in a few, and then tonight DH is home so he is making dinner for me! We will likely go for a walk after dinner as well.

It's going to be a scorcher again today but it's Ladies Day at the Golf course so off I'll go at 9. We should be finished before late afternoon when it gets really hot.

Morning!

Hot, hot, hot.....we hit 102 yesterday and we'll likely be in triple digits today and tomorrow before we go back down to the mid-to-upper 90s. I spent yesterday afternoon in the pool, although even the pool water feels like bath water b/c it's so warm.

We went to my sister's to see their community's fireworks on Saturday night. Then on Sunday my sister and BIL and DH and I went to Penn State University to see the fireworks show there. It was set to music and was very nice. I really like fireworks. That was pretty much our weekend, other than yard work and house work.

Last night DH and I sat by the pool; I had Mollipop on my lap and she was quite well-behaved for a little girl. She likes being outside and, as long as she's content to be in my arms, I'll take her out for short walks and visits to the bunnies and birds in the back yard. She notices everything; her head moves quickly when she sees a bunny and she likes to chatter at them. But she didn't make any sudden moves. When she started to get a little antsy, I took her back in the house. I think she enjoyed it.

Looks like it's hot everywhere. Closed up the house a bit ago to keep it cool. Was surprised by my son dropping the grandkids off. Forgot to check my calendar! oops.

I hope they are content to sit and eat popsicles all day, cuz that's the plan!

Its a hot one already. Me and the animals are parking it inside today. Its just too hot for anyone to be outside. Its starting to be a long day, BF and I have been up since 6 waiting for work to let him know when he needs to start or if he is getting picked up. Would have been nice to know that he wasnt going to start yet.....he could have slept in but it works cuz he has some finishing touches before painting his dads car to do. 4 more cars to do and he is done working for his dad and we can start making our own truck for car shows.

Today's my last day off of my mini-vacation (I only used one vacation day, and have been off since last Wednesday!) Got up at 6 am to pick raspberries, and it was already 75 °F outside! I'll be spending the day inside, enjoying the AC. The girls are out on the sunporch...it's miserable hot out there...don't understand how they can stand it!

Oh my it's so hot out! They are talking about temps from 102-106 today. It was over 100 this weekend but very low humidity. DH BBQed for the 4th. He is very brave. Jr took a dip in his baby pool. He much preferred splashing from the outside until he dipped head first. Poor boy. Then we moved to the hose. He had so much fun.

We have had some brown outs. I turned my pc off and am using mom's laptop for now. I have to do some laundry. Too much to save for night time.

Next week Mom's off to Maine for the week. DH will be home and hopefully we can do some fun things with Jr like the Aquarium.

Time to sign off to conserve energy.

It's not nearly as hot here today as it was yesterday. I LOVE the heat though, and don't mind it one bit!

Not too much going on today really other than work. I had yesterday off so it was a really great long weekend for us!

Its now 31 and feels like 38. My furnace is making squealing noises and so the furnace guy is coming in later today. We leave for Florida on Saturday so this heat is just training for me.

Morning... It's not hot here!!!

It's only 63 degrees and cloudy, misting enough even to warrant windshield wipers! Yeesh!

Today was my first day of school in 9 years!! I had to get up at 6:30 this morning to be there for an 8:00 class. Ouch. Intro to Accounting. This evening I have to go back for an orientation for a Business Law class which will be online. Not sure I should be trying to take 2 classes in the summer, but we'll see. I will try my best!!

So... for the rest of the day, ewll I'm going to watch the Netherlands v. Uruguay game soon, and then read/study for accounting. Then the Law orientation, and then tonight I'll probably be having to read tons for that. I'm so nervous!!

AND I'm nervous still about this house, yesterday it finally sounded like we're all in agreement with everything, repairs and all that, and now today we haven't gotten papers to sign or heard anything. So we still don't know if we're buying the house or not. NERVES!!!

Beautiful day here. Low 80's and sunny.

I have my 8th date in 6 days today. Yup, that would be 2 dates on 2 of the days. I think I am getting dated out. Never thought that I would say that. My fridge looks like a bachelor's because I haven't eaten at home much so there is nothing in it.

I have a date tomorrow, too, and it is with the man I "fancy." It is our 3rd date. Wish me luck.
