HSUS at it again in OHIO to BAN exotic animal ownership!!!! - Page 2

That's analogous to me responding to a new student's question with, "Well, that was covered last year, so you'll just have to find somebody who was here back then and borrow their notes".

It's impossible for anybody to read all TCS threads, and at the very least links to the threads where the subject was discussed would be a lot more constructive than telling people to do their own internet search for articles backing up your claims.

I have read the links, and Googled plenty. I find that most of the sources are not credible (being from hysterical shrieky anti-AR nuts), and most claims made are unsubstantiated. I find no reason to believe that they're trying to misrepresent themselves or trick anybody. Like I said, I'm no fan of HSUS. . . there are plenty of reasons to object to some things they do (things they openly lay claim to). But there's no reason to make stuff up. Stick to the facts.

Willowy-The reason there is now a ban in my state, to own and share my life with exotics, is all due to HSUS. Nothing needs to be proven here, it is all fact. HSUS mislead Ohioans into thinking they were signing a petition for better livestock care when in fact, these signatures and petitions were used to ban exotics. HSUS, PETA want to ban all pet ownership for good. They start with exotics and so called "dangerous animals", because it is easier to convince people that no one should own exotic/wild animals. However, have you noticed certain domestic breeds are now being banned?? Bengals and Savannahs are being banned in states now. They started with exotics and now going after the hybrids. Next, it will be all domestics. HSUS, PETA, ALF, API are all bad organizations. Since I have not noted it here in a while. Please do not confuse Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) with your local humane societies. They are not the same and your local shelters receive no assistance from HSUS. The only difference between HSUS and PETA imo is this. HSUS does things more intellectually, if that is a good word for it and PETA is wacky. You usually don't see HSUS people throwing blood at someone who is wearing fur, like PETA members do. But they all have the same goals. To eliminate animals from our lives.
