I am very torn about catching a feral mama cat. A few days ago she crossed two 6 week old babies to the food source where I feed her. Now I am not sure that she doesn't have others still left in the woods. I tried looking in there, but there are so many areas that the kittens could be hidden in, I could never find them. I tried waiting for her to come back into the woods and then seeing where she would go, but that did not work out either as all she did was sit and watch what I was doing there. I really want to catch her to get her back with her two babies (as they are miserable)
and to get her spayed. But how can I be sure there are no more babies? This has been about 4 days since getting the 2 babies, and there hasn't been anymore since. Any advice? Thanks alot!

I think most of the time mama cats bring the entire litter to eat at the same time. This is what my feral mama cat did anyway (now trapped and spayed). So she probably only had the 2 kittens. I'd trap her now if possible.

Especially if there is a cutoff for spaying a pregnant cat Id trap now too. I agree shed have most likely brought others along.
