I Got A Camera! So you know what that means!!!

I finally got a digital camera! PC Richards, here in NYC, is having a terrific sale, and they had an Olympus on sale for $68.97! Of course I had to get it. I haven't quite figured out how to get the stupid memory card in - being a sometimes technically challenged old person. But it has some built in memory, so I took a few pics of Larry and actually figured out how to get them on the computer! YAY! (Proud of myself about that....wish I could figure out the memory card thing. *sigh*)

So, anyhoo - here are a few pics of my handsome fella - he's getting used to having his picture taken!

He likes sitting on top of the piano.

He likes to get under 5 layers of blankets and up against the wall, if he feels like hiding. Crazy cat - the temp is in the 80's!!

What model of camera do you have? Maybe someone here can help you with the memory card.

It's an Olympus FE.25 - strictly point and shoot. I'm taking it in to work on Tuesday and one of the tech guys will show me.

In the meantime, I'm playing around with it. I have to also figure out how to get that thing out that makes the eyes a funny color. Larry's eyes look spooky in that one pic.

That is a low light situation. His pupils are dilated so you are going to see a reflection like that.

Thanks. It turns out they sold me the wrong memory card. A guy at my job got the same camera, and he bought a couple of the memory cards, and they're totally a different size, so I'm going to bring the one back and get another one. In the meantime, my friend at work is letting me use his extra one. Very nice - which means I'll be taking tons of pics.

Oh that sucks - and having to deal with that in this weather.

LOL! And, by the way, I've been meaning to tell you - I love that picture of Charlie in your sig. He looks so wise, and he's smiling like Yoda.

He is a sweetie lovebug. I don't know how wise he is though.... I guess that remains to be seen.
