That's a lovely tribute to Much, Jana. You and Jeff are really going to miss her. My condolences to both of you.

Thank you all. I must add to this that Much was named after Much, the Miller's son in Robin Hood even though Much was a she.

Much did leave a mark on us all including the house. This morning I noticed the finish had been rubbed off the bathroom door about 1 1/2 feet above the floor. She loved to rub her cheeks there and made these tiny scratches with her teeth.

I am so very sorry for you and your husbands loss of Much. It sounds like she had an old sole and was almost human. I hope she meets up with my sweet boy Oscar at the bridge. I think he would love her.

Much, you are a beautiful girl and although you will be greatly missed, you are in a happy place and you are loved by many.

Much's ashes are now home. Still getting used to her being gone. I have found that Carly wants me to watch her eat now. For so many months, I had to watch that she didn't bother Much before Much was done eating. Now Carly really doesn't eat unless I'm with her. Funny how we end up in these routines.

Aww, Jana -- that stinks! Even though we knew your sweet girl couldn't go on forever -- well, you can't help but hope for longer. I'm so sorry the time has come for your farewells. You gave her the best, and in the end the kindest gift, and she'll be watching over all of you.
