How paranoid do I need to be? I eliminated all snacks but it just dawned on me my cat started scratching his ears the first time today ten mins after I cleaned his teeth with seafood CET paste. Figured it was just coincidence.

glucose-oxidase, lactoperoxidase

hmmm......that's a good point. What does your vet say?

If you are concerned about a chicken allergy the ingredients in poultry flavor contain poultry digest. I would stay away from it just to be safe. The malt flavor and vanilla mint might be ok depending what allergen you are trying to stay away from.

Good luck!

( I would also take the question to your vet. )

ask the vet... as MANY flavors can be something else.. ie one companies garlic flavor came from beets....

You are eliminating protein during a trial thus you may end up calling the company as to if the ingrediant contains any protein...

General rule for trials: Only the specified food for the trial time
