yay my cat finally gets it

we have trying to get my cat nellie to eat some canned food. My cat loves kibble thats all she would eat. Everytime we would give her canned she would just sniff it make a funny face and walk away leaving my other cat alexis to eat it. She is also very stubbon about what she eats. Then she would demand her kibble. Today she finally gets it that canned is edible for her and ate a whole 3 oz by herself. She will now eat it every couple days but wont eat everyday. still working on that one.

Awesome! They can be such stinkers! When I was introducing Chester to canned he wanted to nothing to do with it. Then I introduced the chunks with sauce variety in the Natural Choice he eats and he gobbled it up! He was just holding out for something a little fancier!

Lori, you wouldn't happen to be working for Nutro would you? I realize your name is NutroLori, but I thought I'd ask. It seems no matter what the topic is, almost every post you make seem to eventually come around to Nutro and how wonderful it is.

It harkens back to my hatred of how some vets name drop Science Diet on me when I know better what it does to my cat's digestive system.

Nutro is hardly fancy or all that. In terms of ingredients, it is medium grade at best. I feed my cat Nutro from time to time mainly because he is a picky eater who loves his wet food with gravy.

As I recall, Nutro has been subject to quite a few recalls in the past.

Congratulations, KittyKatt! I totally get how exciting it is to see your furbaby finally eating something you know is healthier for her.

Keep working on her and eventually, hopefully, you'll be able to get her off the kibble altogether.
