Holland likes to nap in odd places. Here's what I found this afternoon (it looks like she has a white belly, that's just the camera flash on her tail... ):

We're staying in my mom's basement, and while she does have a full bathroom down here, the shower is out of commission at the moment (can you spot the kitty ears?):

She's napping on top of a wardrobe my mom bought for my nieces' & nephews' dress up clothes. It's in the storage room that is basically Holland's space right now (kids are not allowed in), and I managed to sneak around and get a couple photos from the other side:

The good news is, I think we are both over our drama from this morning...

Awwwwww, there's that gorgeous girl, Holland. The last pic is my fave (but yeah, what a weird place to nap).

Oh yes, she doesn't look stressed at all, poor doll.

I just want to curl up and cuddle with her!

So what can you expect from Holland? He's always been so cute and cuddly!

Those are great pictures.....she looks so comfy and contented there.

I read about your drama....my gosh, I would have been in a total panic! Glad she didn't get outside and that she's recovered from her adventure.

Thanks for looking, everyone!

MysteryCat, I love your sig - "Cats are rather delicate creatures and they are subject to a good many ailments, but I never heard of one who suffered from insomnia." So perfect for my kitty...

And THERE is my favorite feline fashionista! She is waiting for you to open that thing up so she can start trying things on!

Also, classic "I vhant to be alone" shot.

Such great photos of an incredibly cute kitty just bursting with purrsonality!

I'm gonna have to go read what happened this morning - glad all's OK!

BTW - how much does she weigh? She looks so teeney - and can you kiss that kissable nose?

She weighs in the neighborhood of 7 pounds. She IS a teeny girl... I adopted her at 5 months, and she weighed only 4 pounds, the vet at her initial visit told me she likely wouldn't ever get bigger than 8. Long story short, she had to have ALL her teeth extracted back in Feb., and at that time, she weighed 6. Her vet said he would like to see her gain about a pound, and at her follow-up visit the week after her surgery she was up to 6 1/2!

She doesn't like to be held too much, but she does put up with lots of petting and kisses! She's got a ton of catitude, and I love her SO much.

That's like our little Flowerbelle - the opposite of your Holland in every way (other than her petite size and catitude). Flowebelle isn't only white - she likes being held and carried around, but prefers to "pet" us (licking) than be petted and doesn't like being kissed.

Congrats on getting her "fattened" up. She is really a doll!

Thanks.

Flowerbelle sounds like a cutie too. I admit I get a bit jealous when I hear about other people's cats liking to be held and carried around... Holland will let me pick her up, but I can tell by the look on her face that she's just humoring me for a few minutes... She is QUITE the purrsonality.

Well, out of (now) 8 cats, there had to be two that didn't mind being picked up and one that actually enjoys it.

And you can SO see Holland's got purrsonality in her pictures!!
