Question about Facebook

I know we can't post links here, but that is not my question.

I heard that you can set your facebook up to have friends in different groups. For example, family, friends, work etc. And that depending on what group you have them in, they will be only able to share/see/access information for that particular group.

Only I don't know how to go about doing this, and I can't find anywhere in facebook that will help me figure this out.

Can someone PM me a link that will help, or maybe post the instructions here?

I think this is what you mean. I hope it helps.

Go to edit friends (under account). Then on the left side of the page click all connections. Click create new list at the top and then click add to list beside each friend to put them on the list you want.
