Working towards Weaning

For those of you following us...
Kittee is working on weaning
She has stopped *sucking* so much on the syringe and licks the milk out more now.
I finger feed her the glop and EVO pate, slowly bringing her down to the pate and glop plate but she acts like a priss and does not want to get her whiskers in there much.
She has a few times then looks at me and my finger like.."OK you got me tricky, now get that stuff back on your finger! "
SO slowly but surely she is growing and time has FLOWN.
She will be 6 weeks tomorrow!
She is running and jumping, attacking our feet, and really becoming a love bug.
SO far so good with Kittee, our resident dogs and my husband.

Yay Kittee!! It sounds like she is doing great and that you and your family are really enjoying her. (I hate to say this) she will be grown up before you know it!

I know it... I know it....
She by the end of today is now eating from the plate...still taking her syringe but eating without my finger her yummy EVO pate
As much as i *want* her to do that....I know I will miss it.
BUT I am grateful for this experience and happy to give her life.
