Ok, this question is off the top of my head. I am still half asleep.. LOL

If you had to have a last meal, what would it be?

Mine would start with a green salad with plenty of fresh broccoli, carrots, cauleflower, cheese, red beans, croutons, bacon bits with creamy ranch dressing. Main course would be Alaskan King Crab and Lobster with drawn butter, grilled boneless chicken breasts, Fresh corn on the cob with plenty of butter, crispy fresh cut french fries and fresh rolls with butter. For dessert I would want fresh stawberry pie with lots of whipped cream.

A last meal? Probably better that I skip it. Indulging in fatty foods and sometimes even eating healthy non fat foods is bad. Not the way I'd want to go out, that's for sure.

Allow me to make my own (huge!) grilled pizza with my choice of toppings and cheeses and I'd be a happy camper.

I would want a meal from Milestones (my favourite restaurant). Caesar salad to start. Steak with lobster and shrimp (the lobster and shrimp are on top of it in a sauce) with mashed potatoes. For dessert, white chocolate cheesecake.

Crusty Italian bread with plenty of butter, a filet mignon cooked medium rare with two Maine lobster tails and a cup of butter, double steamed broccoli (with butter ... can you tell I love butter on things?), a side of my mom's vodka penne, with a large glass of white Merlot. For dessert, one of those chocolate meltdown cakes from Applebees/Chilis or chocolate chip mint ice cream.

Maybe I should tell hubby this would also make a great anniversary meal

this stew that my FIL makes, some nice soft bread and a salad. That stew always makes me fall asleep after so I wouldn't be too worried about feeling much pain, LOL!

A perfectly grilled steak (med rare) a twice baked potato with lots of sour cream, asparagus steamed on the bbq with balsamic vinegarette salad dressing and for dessert Angel food cake topped with 7 minute icing. I'd wash it all down with a nice bottle of Pinio Grigio.

Only one last meal?!?!?!?!? *yikes*

I'd want it served on a beach in Hawaii at sunset. Start with a shrimp scampi appetizer and some crusty French bread. Then continue with a prime cut, fork tender filet mignon (rare), a couple of lobster tails, a side of lobster ravioli covered with a creamy vodka prawn sauce, and some fried plaintains. Drinks must be a fruity tropical drink, perhaps a mango daquari with a strawberry topper. Dessert can simply be a huge fruit salad with pineapples, watermelons, etc, oh, and a good canolli.

I want the shrimp from the Gulf, the bread from Paris, the steak from Chicago, the lobster from Maine, the plaintains from Panama, the vodka from Russia, the pineapples from Hawaii, and the canollis from Boston.

I'm not picky, am I?

Garden salad with blue cheese dressing, prime ribs with a baked potato with butter and sour cream and corn. New York cheesecake for dessert, I would be very happy with that and I just may have that sometime this weekend

Oh yeah almost forgot, a Tom Collins cocktail or two or whatever

Mine would be an all-you-can-eat-buffet, and it would take me a really, really long time to eat my fill.

Seriously, a last meal would consist of a well-done t-bone steak, crispy french fries, thin-sliced onion rings in a beer batter, fresh rolls with real butter, a bowl of really good chili, a bowl of rich beef stew-heavy on the meat and potatoes, blackberry cobbler with a scoop of a very good vanilla ice cream, a rich cup of coffee, a Pepsi, a bottle of Bud (hey, it's my last meal, might as well have a bit of everything), a slice of bar-b-q ham steak, and a piece of chocolate cake with chocolate icing. All with a Tums chaser. I can't imagine being able to eat 1/3 of this, but at least I could have a little taste of everything.

I'm pretty fond of Milestones, too. May I suggest, since it's your last meal, that you splurge and have a second desert: The Ibarra Chocolate Cake. TO.DIE.FOR.

As for my own last meal? Who knows!!! There are too many possibilities, and Whatever was going to end my life would probably get impatient and kill me off before I decided.

The exact meal I had for our anniversary last weekend, it was the best thing I have ever had.

Fresh homemade bread to start, cream of asparagus soup, and then a delicious chicken pasta with a delicious sauce. No idea what was in it to make it so good!
