Well tomorrow is a holiday here

So today is my last day of work, and then tomorrow we have off, then work Friday, then the weekend!

Hopefully its dead today in the office, I an get alot of files closed since its the last day of the month.

Sunny with a chance of rain and a little chilly for summer here.

Morning!

Waiting for my co-worker to come in so we can go out on inspection again this morning. We have to check out a campground that may (or may not) have been state-certified. And inspect an addition on a commercial property. So....yup, it's a jeans day!

The weather is just gorgeous this morning....upper 50s with plenty of sun. My co-worker already told me that we're taking my PT Cruiser so we can drive with the moonroof and the windows open and we can listen to AC/DC while we're driving. Life is good.

Morning all!

A cool summer moring but calm winds and very sunny. Have one load of laundry on clothesline and in a bit will take a walk while waiting for another load to finish.
Some garden work then get ready and off to work.

Nothing exciting planned for the day.

Back stiffness still continues though but continuing with stretching as much as possible.

Cats are pretty good this morning Bender is grooming himself on the table as I type this.
The others are settling in for their morning naps pretty soon.

God am I ever tired again today.

I haven't been sleeping well at all, blah!

Just work today. Dana is taking the car over to my uncle's later to get help changing the spark plugs.

Hopefully that'll fix the issue with it, because the stupid thing is giving me a headache. We can't figure out what the issue is and neither can the mechanic apparently.

I REALLY want to just curl up and relax tonight, maybe spend some time in the foster room socializing my feral foster kitten, Lucius. He's so precious...

Good morning! The heat wave is finally over!

I can't wait to out for a walk(shop) this afternoon. Jr has been going nuts inside. He was a little help yesterday though. He got a dish towel and was dusting everything including the remotes. OMG It was too cute!

Mom has been thinking hard about a emotional decision concerning her cats. If the heart wasn't involved it would be an easy decision. The oldest have been eliminating out of the box. Connor has been spraying for ages but it's the worst it has ever been.

Mom's room has become the litter box.

Sunday is the 4th and we are having DH's family over a for a BBQ. I can't wait for some ribs and poppers.

Today is the first of 3 days off for me. Today and Friday are my normal days off and tomorrow is Canada Day so we are closed.

Today we are going to look at houses to rent for September. There is a 2 bedroom townhouse that looks like its really nice from the pictures and its definitely affordable so I hope we like it and that they give it to us.

G-day everyone

Today starts my 4th of July weekend. After he leaves work today Russ and I are going down the Jersey Shore in Avalon near Wildwood and returning Saturday night. We just want to get away alone for a few days. My nephew and sister will be taking care of Autumn and Russ' sister will be taking care of his 3 kits, so that is taken care of.

I do not worship the sun so I won't be laying on the beach but I do love walking on the boardwalk. I also love the night life down the shore, they have open bars where you can sit and drink, dance and look out at the ocean which is just lovely. I love the smell of the ocean and the fantastic breeze it has. I am really looking forward to these few days away.

We are coming back Saturday evening since Russ is having quite a few friends at his home for a cookout on July 4th. All in all it should be a nice weekend altho unfortunately the heat is coming back. Down the shore it shouldn't be as hot tho which is nice. Today is fantastic weather so far and all the windows have been open and Autumn is just loving it.

Morning.. oh wait it's afternoon! Well then. Good afternoon!

I was going to post a few hours ago before leaving to meet our Realtor and a chimney guy at the house we're trying to make work, but then I didn't. So here I am, it is now sunny but hazy, but not foggy and dark like it was a few hours ago. It's 70 now, should go up to the mid 70s I think.

So yeah, the chimney on this house is not only cracked on the outside, but the flue inside is cracked. So I just hope the sellers will be reasonable and at least give us a credit to get it fixed ourselves if they won't get the work done. Sigh. I just want this house thing to work out and be done with.

This evening BF and I are going to a film screening!! He must be on some email list that he got an invite to a film screening of an as-yet un-named thriller or something like that. So he called and got this code and we have to show up at least 45 minutes before it starts.. I don't know what it will be like, if we have to take notes or what. I've never been to a screening before. Exciting!

Other than that I am doing laundry, and catching up on some leisure reading before I will have to be doing mega school reading next week. I am kind of hungry, but I've had kind of a bad stomach off and on since yesterday so I'm kind of afraid to eat anything. I'm drinking orange Powerade right now. That's staying settled for now.

Another nice-weather day here in Edmonton, and I am almost done my work day so I can go and enjoy it - looking forward to the day off for Canada Day tomorrow (but boo - I do have to work on Friday, hopefully can make it only a half day or something). Im a big lover of fireworks - anyone here planning on doing their own show? We'll be watching the main display put on by the city. Have a great evening everyone!
