Today Neko tried a new flavor in Weruva canned: Meow Luau with Mackerel & Aloe
Mackerel flakes, aloe, carrot, baby corn, water sufficient for processing balance, thickening agent (tapioca and or potato starch and xanthan gum), sunflower seed oil, dicalcium phosphate, choline chloride, taurine, vitamins and minerals...

Neko at first was not sure... couple of finger feeds and then...
she loved it!!

So what does Aloe provide in canned food for cats??

I would think it would act as a gelling agent.. it is a bitter liquid thus wonder why a cat food company would think it was good..

just looked at the weruva site and it says to help cleanse the body and omega 3?? true?

bitter... Neko liked it anyway
As long as its not harmful... searching online mentioned the plant itself being harmful? Will it be safe for Neko as an occasional meal?
