New furniture!

I got myself a new sofa over the weekend. The old one was icky gray vinyl and it did a very good 3 years for a 9000 yen recycle shop find. Unfortunately it didn't survive Aya. I prefered it covered, but she decided the soft fabric covered surface was good to pee on after I made the bed completely inaccessible. So I took the cover off. Then she decided the icky gray vinyl was much better than her scritch pads for sharpening her claws on. Gee whiz, if I talled up all the stuff she has destroyed it would be in the hundred of dollars or tens of thosands of yen! i really should ahve named this one Kali the destroyer.

Someone's already decided this was a present for her.

We rescued our first kitties in the RV and didn't know anything about them. When we decided to take out the dining area and put in cat furniture, Gary asked me - how do they know this is for them?

...then we moved into a house, and had to buy furniture. I had an answer for him then: EVERYTHING new coming into the house is theirs!

Aya looks great on her new couch!
