An update on Zoe's kittens- Now 7 weeks old!

This is an update for all of you that remember my foster mommy cat Zoe, and her 4 little kittens. They're all doing very well, and they have now been named (in order of birth) Tibby, Cracker, Polly and Jack. They're all doing so well, playing and jumping around. After over 30 foster cats/kittens, we broke down when we fell in love with Cracker, and we've decided to adopt him. Kia, our sweet 4 year old girl, is not so pleased about her new brother, but we're working on it.
Tibby is our only torbie girl like her mother- she was very shy at first and hated to be held for the first 3 weeks of her life, but she came around and she now loves people, although she's still very nervous and doesn't like to leave the room.
Cracker LOVED people from the moment he was born, and purred to me before he was two weeks old...he's now a cuddle cake who just loves to run around and play. He and his brother Jack are like fuzzy orange twins- they are almost always together. He's always trying to escape the room when I open the door...
Polly is the fluffiest little dark orange fuzzball ever! She's got her mom's long fur, and the most adorable innocent face you'll ever see! She's pretty lazy and is already getting a little belly(which, by the way, is covered by little orange curlies). She's very mellow, and floppy when you pick her up.
Jack is the biggest and most adventurous kitten. He's always running and leaping everywhere. He just can't get enough play time in! Like I said, he loves his brother Cracker.

And that's the intro to the kittens!

I was just trying to get pics up, but tinypic isn't working right now, so I'll get them up later tonight. Here's a quick video....

Zoe's doing awesome! She's very happy and talkative.
Here are a few more from today- they just went to get their first shots today, and Cracker was the only one that didn't come out from the carrying cage after...this is what he was doing!

They're all so sweet. When we took them to get their first shots, the girls at the shelter kept saying how special little Cracker is for being the one little guy we decided to adopt...and the woman that owns the shelter was in love with Polly, especially since she is such a dark colour to be a female! I'm so sad that I only have 6 days left with them.

Gosh how I'd love to kiss them all!

Make sure to get TONS more pictures before they leave. I am sure they will find their forever homes very quickly. You (and Zoe) have done a great job with the babies.

I always feel bad when kitten pics are posted and there is one that grabs my attention more than the others... I do love Polly but you can feel free to give Jack, Cracker, Tibby and especially Zoe some cuddles from me too...

I definatly will! Zoe just can't ever get enough cuddles from anyone- she's got to be one of the sweetest cats I've ever met. She always wants to play like her kittens, the poor girl. I'm just hoping that she'll get to go to a great new home and after her spay.

They are ALL adorable, but I am in love with little Polly! Such beautiful fur!! She's going to be long haired, isn't she? I love long haired kitties!

As cute as her kittens all are, I Zoe the most. She is so sweet and deserves the best home possible.

Well, today they went back. I cryed my eyes out saying goodbye, especially when I had to put all of them except Cracker into the carrying cage- the poor little guy was so confused and he was sticking his paw through the bars. The woman who owns the humane society fell in love with Polly, so she's probably going to adopt her, which is great, since she'll have 7 brothers and sisters there!Apparently they have plenty if homes lined up, and an older couple is coming to see Tibby- they just lost a cat, and their other one is so sad and just wants another friend. That's perfect for her, since she lovess people, but is a little shy and doesn't like to be chased. When we got home Cracker didn't seem at all upset, he was just happy and running around as we cleaned the room up. After about an hour of playing, he got tired and fell asleep, so I made him a bed and put the towel that was in the carrying cage with his siblings and mom in the bed. As soon as he smelt it he started purring. As I type he's curled up on my lap in his towel, fast asleep...poor little guy!

Aww--I would have cried too. You and Zoe did a fabulous job on raising them, though, and it sounds like they'll get some great homes!
