Morning!

Well it was our first anniversary yesterday so we spent the weekend at the cottage and went out for a nice dinner Saturday. Last night we rented a movie and cuddles, it was perfect!

Shortish week this week because Canada Day is Thursday so I get it off.

Rainy today...hopefully it clears up later on.

This morning, first is a dental appointment to put on my crown and fill a couple of little erosions. (Bad.)

Then, it's kitty cuddle time at the shelter! (Good.)

It's sunny but theres some clouds are forming so i hope we have some rain later because we need it

My gardener has had to give up the business, so i've got a new one for inspection at 4.30

There is a threat of rain today but I'm going to take my chances and go golfing with my 3 golfing ladies, their husbands and my SO. The gentlemen golf together and the ladies follow them, then it's lunch together for the 4 couples. Nice.

Morning!

It's already over 80 degrees and it's only 8:00 in the morning here. Going to be a sticky day. I keep hoping for some rain. I had to water or Saturday night as the plants were looking thirsty. Then we did have a nice shower early Sunday morning, so the gardens are looking much better again. But I'll always take some rain for the veggies.

We picked two nice zucchini last night from our garden!

As well as six banana peppers and two green peppers. Life is good.

Morning all!

I am so totally sunburnt...

We spent pretty much all weekend outside. That's what I get for being stingy on the sunblack.

We're supposed to go and help trap at a feral colony this evening but it is supposed to rain all day so I'm not sure what the plan is. We were brought 2 ferals kittens last evening who are currently chilling out in the foster room.

They're terrified, which is to be expected, but this evening I'm going to go in and spend a little time with them. I know they'll come around in no time.

Morning,

It's the start of another week. I was on travel until Saturday night, so this morning I'll be submitting my expenses for reimbursement. After that, I have to go through the pictures I took and put together some slides for the project manager to look at. Then I have some models to build so that I can run simulations of some measurements we'll be doing next month. After work, I'll be heading over to the gym for a bit before I head home.

Mornng... it is cloudy, foggy, misty, 84% humidity. But not hot, it's only 63. But still feels sticky. But that should clear up around midday, less grey, less humid..

Poor USA, England, and Mexico.. (World Cup losses this weekend)

I need to take bottles & cans to the recycling center today.. And I am going to do some job searching, and also flight searching, as BF's brother's wedding in England is coming up in just over a month and we both don't have fights yet!

I really hope we hear something about our home inspection repair request list today or tomorrow. A friend who lives in the area told us they had an open house on that house yesterday!! What??? BF called the realtor asking about that, and he said they probably had it scheduled before, and just held it anyway to generate new leads, even if not for THAT house. Sigh.. i guess. This house HAS to work.

So yeah, I've got some big bad anxiety over that going on today.

I got some cheap vegetarian cookbooks last week and I want to try out at least 1 new recipe this week, maybe today. It's supposed to be on the cool side, so I could probably use the oven today without turning the whole apartment into an oven.

Today was nice and sunny (still is; the sun won't go down till 22:00). 25 degrees Celcius in the shade with 30% humidity as I write this.

I haven't been outside all day though, except to toss my trash this morning...

Been home all day with the cats, just chillin', eating ice cream and being generally lazy. Was going to go bicycling with my brother and his common-law wife to the same place we cycled Saturday, but I'm exhausted today so I passed, lol.

Today is a decent day: though theres a chance of thundershowers, so far that hasnt happened and I had an excellent lunch outside

In the lab, Im not doing an expt., Im reviewing a manuscript, so a low stress day. Im planning on walking home a bit early (as I came in early today), and then coming back to campus for the falcon fledge watch volunteer meeting which will be great as I havnt seen a lot of those faces since last years fledge watch!
