THANKS!! We love him. He just loves sleeping in my husbands arms, which is where is is in the picture of him laying on his back.

I work from home, so Billy is only alone at night really...during the day I am usually nearby, and check on him often. Today, hubby and I had a couple places to go, so he was by himself for about 9 hours. He has his litter/food/water in the living room, so he was all set. He has been able to climb the gate that is supposed to keep him in his room, but we were hoping he would not. He has been able to climb to get out, but we had never seen him get back in, and we were worried about him trying to climb the stairs and getting hurt.
As we get home, I walk towards the living room to check on him (he wears a bell collar so we can always find him )...and my sweet little boy was CLIMBING the gate to get back into his room! He is just soooo smart. He heard us get home, and was going back to his room like he was never out!!! We just laughed. He is a sweet lil rascal. He is just learning so much.

We are trying to fatten him up....being just under a lb and a half really worries me! He is to tiny...short little legs, tiny little body. Definitely not malnourished, he is a grubby little boy but he is about the size of a 7/8 week old kitten, not a now 13 week old kitten. The vet was not worried about his weight, so I am trying to not worry for a couple weeks and hoping he grows some more/puts on weight. He loves to eat, and is a littler beggar when we eat!
(his favorite spot to hang out on his own, is the back of our couch on a fleece blanket, "looking" out the window.)

It's obvious that you and your husband are having a lot of fun with little Billy!! I'm sure he'll gain weight before you know it, though some cats are just small. Like I said, my girl was only 4 pounds when I adopted her at almost 5 months old. Her last checkup she was 6 pounds (she's two years old now). Her vet wanted her to gain about a pound, and although I haven't weighed her, I think she's probably around 7 pounds now.

Billy looks so happy in all of his pictures!!
