I have 2 beautiful adult cats I rescued from a shelter a few years ago that I can't keep in my apartment. One is a male grey&white, the other is a part-Siamese female (blue eyes!). They are affectionate, wonderful pets. They have been together since they were young and I would like to keep them together if at all possible. If you can give these 2 great cats a loving home they will return your kindness many times over!

blondesided, where are you from? Maybe that will help potential adopters. Also, can you tell us more about why you can't keep the cats? Maybe that will give us some ideas.

I am located in New Windsor, NY, which is about an hour north of NYC. I am unable to keep my cats here because the landlord won't allow it. I moved from a house into an apartment in February and have had them here and have been trying desperately to find them a good home. I have advertised in the local paper but the calls I've had only want one cat, my part Siamese, and I was hoping not to have to separate them. I have tried asking all my friends if they or anyone they knew would take them with no luck. I am also not home a lot so the cats are in the apartment with no company except for an hour or two in the evening, and it is hard for me to find someone to care for them when I have to go away overnight. I am afraid my landlord will tell me I have to leave when he finds out that I've had them here. I just want them to have a good loving home where they will get the attention they crave and deserve. Lucas & Samantha are great cats.

I read an article about 4 months in the Southern Vermont Shelter newsletter (Second Chance) about a rescue/shelter group just north of NYC. I will look it up and get their information to you. I sure hope that you can find good homes for your babies. It has to be difficult to consider giving them up.
