Gosh a feeling I know only too well, the house that I have just moved to has black carpet on the stairs and landing! I have 6 cats and one of them is white, what a nightmare that is, I have given up now

But the black background suits him so well!

I've decided that with a tabby and 2 tri-colored cats, that cat hair is a way of life. Whatever I wear, it will show the cat hairs.

I'm sure he is pleased that you understand him so well, and knew he needed that black throw to show of His Gleaming Whiteness.

Trace has a point, you know. But, the black throw does show off his beautiful white fur. Too bad it wasn't Mischief who loved the black throw! Speaking of Mischief...pics?

Oh I have the same problem as well with Kahu - he loves the black fleecy blanket.

I can never win with the variety of colors of cats in my household - but man I swear, white hair shows up more than any other color!

2 black cats, 1 bi-color black and white, 2 calicos. There is no color of fabric or throw rug that doesn't show the colors in this house!

But Trace does have a point.
And he does look so good on it, you can't possibly tell him that it isn't his.

Great picture!

Here, too, it just doesn't matter. We have one all-grey girl, two tuxes, a little tortie, an orange-striped tabby, and a brown/black tabby. Doesn't matter what color we have, there's a contrasting kitty color to fit it perfectly!

I've gotten to the point that, once I'm dressed for work, I don't sit down. Anywhere. I just finish getting ready and leave for work.

I keep thinking gray would work, but it doesn't. Now we have a white cat (flambe), a silver cat (Sterling), and orange cat (Punkin), and a largely black cat (Ella).

I need a camouflage cat, I guess.
