So today ca-R-ma Saint John (Cat Rescue Maritimes) had it's 1st annual Walk for Cats and we raised over $2700!!!! 
I am so frickin' happy right now! It was a long, tiring day but well worth it. Dana and I were in charge of the adoption tent and although we didn't have a lot of traffic, we DID have one kitten adopted. 
There was the walk itself, a bbq, tons of raffles and a lot of people made donations both monitary AND food wise. Global Pet Foods was a HUGE sponsor for us and donated so much time AND food to us, it was amazing. We can help so many kitties with $2700 and this is only our first year!
