You are a blessing, and wonderful example of a huge heart!
LIMIT:
I thought my limit was 3, then along came a stray (Gray), and a feral that adored him. I knew NOTHING of how to trap, or where to get them neutered/spayed for less money than my vet charges, zilch, and no one here was ready to offer information either - I think they were afraid that I would ask them to take them. Meanwhile, during my education process they had two kittens. NOW I knew I had to do something or else "my limit" would have to turn into "limitless" - cause there was no room in the inn (especially in this economy and people losing homes), and I just couldn't give up ANY of these cats!
So, now we have 7, and just last week, another stray has come knocking at my door. I know a little more now, but - here I am, again!

My Personal Concern - thinking ahead, that is ...
I'm in my mid-sixties - it's most likely that if I live to be in my 80's or 90's that the issue of the care of all these cats will be a difficult one.
I can't imagine coming to the end of my life knowing that I'm leaving even one of these family members to the unknown. (My daughter has promised to take the original three we have now - she's the one who rescued #1 and asked me to take him.)
So, in fairness to them (both the cats, and our daughter), we shouldn't rescue anymore.
That's why I said you are a blessing - 'cause I know Buddy and Smoky will continue to be in a loving home.
BTW, we've been calling the new one "Buddy" - that's why this thread caught my attention.
