I just found out this morning that when the vet got to my daughter's house the day before yesterday, Ruby was not put to sleep. The vet said he thought it was heat related. Ruby was given a B-12 shot and steroid antibiotics. My daughter stayed home and spent the day with her yesterday to monitor her condition. By last night, Ruby was eating and drinking and walking around. She was also fine this morning. To try to keep her cooler, her stall is wet down. So for now, Ruby is holding on.

So would a mod please remove the thread Goodbye Ruby that I posted. For now it is not needed. Thanks.

Thanks, Mike. I was so surprised to hear this news. I am happy for Ruby and for my daughter. Hang on Ruby, old girl.
