Meet stella

Hi everyone, so im new to this site and id like to introduce stella. Iv only had stella for a few months, i bought a house and she came with it(long story). Anyway stella has had a tough time, for some reason she was declawed and then kicked out by her original owners and was left to die in the cold canadian winter. The lady who i bought my house off took her in and gave her a new life, well now shes with me and shes such a little sweetheart.
She has a lovely personality, she comes into my bedroom in the night, jumps on the bed and starts licking me! Iv never had a cat that is so obsessed with licking people lol. Anyway here she is(i hope the picture is an ok size, i have no idea how to find out how many pixels it is and what not)

She looks a bit tubby on this picture but im actually trying to help her gain some weight, she is very thin, you can feel her spine and ribs.

Oh wow, what a beautiful girl she is!
I am so glad she found you, poor little thing, I can't believe what people are capable of sometimes!

Wow! She's gorgeous! I'm so happy she's got a safe, loving home! I really can't understand how horrible people can be....throwing out a cat like so much garbage. But you are an angel for taking care of her.

Don't be afraid of giving her a playmate... I was afraid of the same thing, then I brough Bugsy in, and then Hope... All three get along together great, and are wonderful companions. Each one in its own way, but they all interact, play, and bring each other out of their shells. Hope and Lucky are the best of friends and they even get Big boy Bugsy running around the house from time to time. With the right introduction it can be a wonderful gift for your girl

Welcome to TCS!

Stella is gorgeous. As for getting her a playmate, your best bet (IMO) is to try to find a kitty who best matches her purr-sonality. I have multiple cats, and while they don't get along purr-fectly, they don't kill each other (except for one - but she's something special! ).

Stella is absolutely STUNNING! I think she looks a lot like my Shadey.

I have a foster cat, Olive, who is also obsessed with licking people.

Welcome to TCS!

Yes she has grown very attached to me which is great, i love getting all the hugs. Believe it or not shes very camera shy, this is the only good pic i have managed to get of her, its a bit of a shame because shes so beautiful and i want to show her off. Unfortunately i have no idea of her age, do you know if a vet can tell a cats age at all? She doesnt look very young but she still enjoys running around chasing things. So me and my husband are having issues with what pet we should get, id like a kitten(of course) and he wants a dog but we have zero experience with dogs, iv had cats my whole life. Im sure i will be able to get my own way

Welcome to TCS!
Stella is gorgeous, and I'm so glad you were able to keep her.
As for her age, a vet will be able to give you a good approximation.
I would opt for an older cat as a likely companion myself.
