Morning friends!

Well, we are supposed to get some rain and some sun today. DH should be home earlier than usual tonight. I might try and go for a rollerblade.

Tomorrow we are going to dinner with my mom and stepdad for my mom's birthday. I got her a couple of nice shirts from her fave store...need to wrap them up tonight.

Our 1st anniversary this weekend!!

Half sun and half cloudy here today. It's a lot cooler though which is lovely!.

Housework when i leave at 2, then that's me done for a long weekend because i'm on holiday tomorrow

I bought a few plants for the garden so i think i'll plant those tomorrow?

Morning!

Our forecast includes t-storms and we desperately need them. It's cloudy and dismal, around 78 degrees...and it's not even 8:00 in the morning yet. Very humid, too.

Have to go out to check on a property this morning. That will be fun....not. It's a commercial property and the owners are building two additions without a land development plan or stormwater. Which means that I have to go out and take pictures and try to talk to them.

Morning,

I'm flying out of town tomorrow, so this is like my Friday in a way. I'm traveling for work to go take a tour of a ship on Saturday morning. It's not exactly a vacation, but I won't be sitting at my desk the whole time, so it will be something different. I also don't have to fly out until noon, so I can sleep in a bit later tomorrow morning.

Today, I'll be trying to get everything taken care of back at the office before I leave. That includes turning my time sheet in a day early and getting some slides ready that are due by the end of the week. I came in fairly early today, so I can take off at a reasonable hour. After work, I'll go by the gym and try to get in a long workout on the elliptical machine or treadmill. Then I'll stop off for a few personal items for my trip at the drug store and once I get home, I'll pack my bags for tomorrow and then read until bedtime.

Morning all!

I am soooo sleepy... I might fall asleep at my desk here at work.

Today is my Mom's 50th birthday! She has to work tonight though so we're not celebrating today, but we're taking her to dinner on Saturday evening and will surprise her when she sees the rest of the family there waiting to celebrate with her!

Can't wait!

This evening we're picking up and bringing another Cat Rescue Maritimes kitty to her forever home. We're really excited about this one too as she is an adult and it was really hard to find her the perfect home. So happy!

Its been raining on and off here for a few days. None predicted for today, but it'll be hot, hot, hot...in the high 90's. My three will be window sitting watching the birds and lizards.

Getting ready for a granddaughters 3rd birthday party on Sat. We shopped for cute little sun dresses and some jean shorts with matching tops. There's gonna be a bunch of kids attending. I'm bringing Tylenol, just in case.

Morning, happy Thursday!

It;s about 70 and sunny so far, should get into the high 70s later today. I need to go notarize something for my old bosses, and maybe meet BF for lunch, not sure yet if he'll get to take a lunch break yet though. I haven't heard anything. We need to meet with the realtor to go over the home inspection report at some point today too, and then after all that, we just might make it out to meet the Hopheads tonight. We're meeting at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach. 21 taps, all micros, can't beat it! Well, not in the immediate Long Beach area anyway. So that's my oh-so-exciting day.

Good afternoon

Car thermometer displays are reading 104ºF here today, ughhh.

Couldn't wait to call Ford customer service to get status on my car, they said it was in production and the ETA was 7/18 now. Last Friday it was 7/17. I'm hoping once it is "released" (should be next week), they will have a more set in stone date. Of course, they originally said 7/20 so I'm still earlier than originally stated.

Acura decided to break again this morning, blah. I knew when I slept in until 7:15am the day wasn't going to turn out well

Now I'm just waiting for hubby to get done with work and craving Italian Bistro even though I'm trying to tone myself and have been eating enough just not working out enough ... or at all!
