Morning folks!

Running a little late this morning...DH got up to hang out with me before work so I didn't come online earlier.

Sunny day here today, I have to get some gifts for birthdays/anniversary coming up today. Maybe at lunch time or maybe after work..might go for a rollerblade tonight too.

Another gorgeous day today.

My friend and i are going to a cottage near us when we finish at 2. They open their gardens to the public twice a week, so i should be coming back with some of the plants they sell

Morning,

I had a really bad day at work yesterday, so I took off early and took half of a sick day. When I got home, I took a nap, and then went to bed early. That seems to have done the trick - I came in pretty early this morning and I'm feeling much better. I'll work until 5 and then head over to the gym before I leave work. After work, I'll spend a quiet night at home with the kitties.

Hello All,

Yep its raining again! Temps aren't too bad but its a bit muggy.

So to go along with my stiff back (researching massages today) I seem to have picked up a rash and most likely its poison ivy. So when I stop at bank to deposit check a drugstore is next door so I'll pick up something for this. But last night I spoke with my sister who gets poison ivy every year and she advised to put cellophane tape over the spots to stop the itching which seems to have worked! But I noticed some spots on my arm-grrrrr...........

I know that feeling all too well!

Not the nicest day here but I'm hoping it will clear up. I had one hell of a morning, from an unexpected rat pregnancy (see my post in the Cats and other animals" section.)

to having someone call and freak out at me because they adopted a Cat Rescue Maritimes kitten who has a slight upper resp. and we BETTER do something about it OR ELSE.

Luckily the director is taking care of it.

We're having a pot luck at work today, mmmmm. Food always makes me feel better.

Nope, I guess you are not drowning your sorrows now!!! I was watching the USA game, but occasionally checking on the England game, saw it was 1-0 to England pretty early on... USA got robbed of a goal AGAIN, and missed a million chances, but came through with a goal in the 91st minute to beat Algeria 1-0 and win Group C!!

I don't see them getting any further though..

But we shall see. Poor BF is in a standards committee meeting this morning in Milwaukee and couldn't watch the games!! However, since he is from England, we'd have been fighting over the TV if he were home..

So, that's done with, shower time in a minute, have to pick up some Laxatone and cat food, and probiotics for me. I got a new cookbook yesterday and I might try out a recipe to have ready when BF gets home from his trip tonight.

Supposed to be in the mid 70s today, and eventually sunny. Nice, but it just gets so hot in the apartment after 4PM or so. Hopefully in another month we will be out of here and in a house and not roasting.

Woke up really early. Called my relatives on the East Coast. Played with Butzie and then fell back asleep! I missed my stretch class. Well, still have salsa at 5 pm and YES another date tonight at 7 pm. That will make 6 in 5 days. No wonder I am tired.
