Morning folks!

It's going to be a rainy one here today. DH is sick, so he stayed home from school last night. So now today he has until midnight to write a paper, I hope he wakes up feeling better

He might have strep, the doc took a culture of his tonsil yesterday. He is on antibiotics.

Nothing much going on with me...our anniversary is this weekend and I can't wait!!!

Another gorgeous day here. so first stop is the conservatory with the kids when i get home

Must remember not to get too relaxed though because my grocery shoppings coming this afternoon

We had a whopper of a thunderstorm last night with another inch of rain. There goes any weeding in the veg garden!

Anywho once again stiff muscles which have travelled up on the left side of my back. I was doing some perennial deadheading at a clients yesterday though only 90 minutes.

I was going to a quick job before work this morning but I will skip until later today but of course its supposed to be hot and humid. I figure my health is more important. I will take a brief walk in a bit and do a bit of picking up around the house.

Slept poorly due to t-storm got up at 3:30 to open windows back up and stretched for a bit. The cats of course thought I should stay up!'

Laptop on track to be delivered Friday-I'm so looking forward to it!

Its sunny this morning, the gardens look great the lawn nice and green from the rains (just lots of weeds!)

Trout's Mom, hope your DH will be feeling better soon. And Gail, enjoy that laptop!

We had a bit of a shower this morning. But we had to water last thing; things were starting to look a bit wilted. We're supposed to be getting some t-storms rolling through, but lately, the storms seem to split right at our mountain. Half of the storm goes to the north; the other half goes south. And we get nothing or close to it. We need some rain again.

Grilled salmon with pineapple glaze for dinner tonight. Should be good with sauteed zucchini, yellow squash, and tomatoes.

Morning all!

I'm super happy today as we have ANOTHER Cat Rescue Maritimes adoption and this time it's an adult that we've had a hard time placing as everyone wants kittens.

The adopter is AMAZING too, so perfect for this little one.

I have a doctor's appointment this evening to go over the results of my blood pressure monitor. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of why my blood pressure is so high.

Started raining earlier and I think it will stay for most of today. DH and I have physicals to go to this afternoon. YUCK! Have some tidying up to do before we go.

Morning.. it was gloomy earlier but the sun is out now. I think some plants must have started blooming or spitting out pollen over the weekend because my allergies have been acting up the past few days. Ick. Oh well, it's not too bad.

I've got some housecleaning to do, laundry, and pick up a prescription.

BF is still in Milwaukee for work, he'll be back tomorrow night. So it's just me and Genever again. I got some good snuggles from her this morning, it was nice.

Wet here again...or maybe that is still. Horrible storm last night - just poured for an hour and a half - inch of rain that we don't need. It is clouding up again, and there are crackles coming through the radio, so somthing is brewing and I hope it goes around.
