I'm new to this and not sure if i'm just being paranoid or not. My cat gave birth to 3 kittens this morning under my sons bed!! I've moved them to a box now and mum is doing well.

She is a very long haired cat and i'm just worried that the babies aren't finding the nipples, they seem to be searching but not latching on. Will they work it out eventually?? I have just tried to trim some of her tummy fur, is there anything else i can do? Any advice would be appreciated Thanks

My previous foster was long haired and her babies nursed just fine. The fur around her nipples eventually matted and fell off.
They should have no problem figuring it out on their own. Good luck with Mom and babies!
