Sammy and Stinky stopping in to say "HI!"

After so many months of visiting this site Sammy and Stinky figured it was finally time to join.

Here's Sammy asking if he can borrow the car for the evening:


And of course Stinky wearing his team colors:


You may have seen Stinky before at Cheezburger as he's made a few appearances .

I'm pretty sure the only reason they keep me around is because I can type faster then them, they've learned to order pizza on their own so my days are numbered!

Are they EVER cute! I love Sammy's nose freckles, my Elliott also has them. Welcome gorgeous kitties!

Welcome ! I also love those nose freckles! And stinky is quite handsome. He would give Peyton Manning a run for his money !!!

Thanks! They are quite the pair. Sammy is about 12 years old and has become my best friend, he follows me around everywhere and can always be found sleeping next to me. He likes to put his paw on my arm so if I move it wakes him up, or he sleeps on my feet.

Stinky on the other hand is about 1 year 4 months old and is just a little stinker, although that's not exactly how he got his name. Lets just say the kitten food I used to feed him didn't exactly agree with his system, he could almost clear a room.

Stinky is pretty weird for a cat, he doesn't mind wearing outfits and he walks on a leash. He woke me up this morning running around with a plastic bag around his neck, not sure how he did it but I'm still laughing about it.

Yeah, Sammy has always had the freckles and they are on his lips and gums too. I doubt I can get a picture of that.

Hello Gemlady , I'm in Evansville and is it ever hot down here! S'posed to be over 100° today.

Yep, it's hot. Don't plan to get too far from the A/C for the next few days.

BTW - word of warning - do NOT let Stinky get caught up in a plastic bag handle again. That is very dangerous. He runs the risk of strangulation or suffocation. I put all my plastic bags away and only give the boys paper shopping bags with the handles cut off.

I'm not trying to sound like an ass but how can I prevent this? He pulled the bag out of the trash, should I haul every bit of trash I have to a dumpster when it needs to be thrown away just to keep it out of his reach?

He's a cat, he's going to do things he shouldn't and I can't watch him every minute of the day. Should I make sure not to leave dishes on my table in case he pushes them off onto Sammy and kill him? I don't thing so...

I didn't put this bag on his head, and I couldn't stop him from doing it because I was asleep... It happened and he survived, not only that but it really is cute/funny. So you can relax!

I'm sorry... why are you attacking me and copping an attitude? You do what you have to to keep your cats safe is all I am saying. Sheesh.

I prevented dumpster diving and looking for trouble in the garbage can by putting soiled litter in there. Some cats do like to lick and chew plastic, there is a chemical in there that attracts them. If it is ingested - well - the vet bill will not be a pretty sight. To each their own, then. TTFN.

I love your kitties! They're gorgeous! Sammy looks so fluffy, I just want to stick my face in his fur! My Larry does the same thing - he puts a paw out to make sure he's touching my arm.
