Had 6 babies days later and I told her take it to vet think theres a dead one in her. All tabbys-the browns(maybe) have white the grays don't) Moms happy and eating fine shes calling today for a place that will check-I told her of a clinic who might do it and a vet who offers free first exam.

You think there's a dead kitten in her still? Why? Does she have any symptoms of something wrong?

This happened to my brothers cat and the vet bill was $4000 no joking,
The cat needs a vet now or she will get very sick and die.

I talked to her sunday afternoon then monday am followed up to see if it had been seen and I decided since she had taken no action far as vets I went ahead and set her up for a spay this am at the clinic. They said xrays would be the number one way to go but this can work and since I have a mom cat with 2 week olds worst case Ill bottle and she can help Its the best I can offer-24 cats and 3 kittens and now this one and her 6 babies. Shes eating and ok but just seems to big(I asked her did you see the cat give birth or did you find her as my preg with 3 who deliver 2 weeks ago was about that size! and I possibly feel something in there. I know the best would have been to go to er but thats not doable for a just found totally unplanned stray. Worst case I would have but since shes eating and all...

Ill know more by mid morning and will try to post when I find out. I just can't believe I never had a cat pregnant and ended up one after the other...Sick world. kicker is the "owner" lives on 2nd floor. Why have a cat if you a-wont spay b-wont be careful??!!!

Good luck with the kitty. I hope she's okay. Does this "owner" know anything about what's going on???

Took her to my house monday afternoon then got her into a clinic-options were xray at any vets(clinic doesnt have xray) and pay few hundred which really is not there-especially considering I have 2 moms and 9 kittens to spay/neuter in 2 months. Or vet agreed to do a spay. Went ahead with that nothing retained...just lumpy I guess. Feel bad she went through it but I couldnt take the chance. Shes on pain meds(natural) and vet did a GREAT job as you can barely tell she got spayed and stiched her so nothing kittens can pull on.
She was back nursing her babies by 6 pm(no worries I bottled them 2 times and had them on my other mom.

Well that leaves 10 to be fixed now....
The owner seems to be unstable...I took Noah from same person(same color as 4 of her kittens in this litter) Sees nothing wrong with this alot of brown tabby friendly cats in her area so guessing this darn persons behind a good chunk of it. I wish I could get more fixed but to much on my plate. Have called a local group and they are going to get back to me about any availale help for these cats still unfixed at apt shes in.
