Can you tell the difference?

In the past, when I have posted pics of Steve and Gigi many wondered about size comparison since I never really posted a pic of them together. Well, a couple of weeks ago we had really hot and humid weather. The 'cat' days of summer were here and you can see the total size comparison between the two.

Gigi is approx. 8 pounds and Steve is approx. 13 pounds (I'm sure all his hair adds a couple of pounds). We refer to Gigi as the Porsche and Steve as the 18 wheeler. He's big, bulky and doesn't take corners well.

Gigi is lucky there is a space between them, otherwise Steve might roll over, and you would have a squished kitty!

They are both gorgeous!

That is funny and very cute!!

I do love those huge fluffy red boys!!

My Scarlett, at slightly under 7 pounds, is also way smaller than most of our other cats. Her favorite wrestling companion, Spanky, is 18 pounds and Scarlett always wins the match.

makes me think of 2 of mine - Firefox & Chip, bestest buds. walked in on them the other day & Chip was lying w/his head on Firefox's tum. she's 8 pounds, he's like 18... seemed backwards to me!

Typical CAT, too!

I take a big chance getting up in the middle of the night, that there may or may not be room for me when I come back to bed, as three cats can expand to cover an entire queen size bed in less than two minutes!

Wow! That's quite a difference! Steve's fur volume bulks him up a bit though.

Steve has squished Gigi more than once in the past. She hates to share sleeping spaces with him. She'll only do it if she's totally tired, like on a weekend when we mess up their sleeping schedule.

Steve is one big ball of *poof* We call him the orange poof ball because of all the hair. No matter how much I brush him, he can just walk and hair falls from him.
