Goodbye Alley. I'm going to miss you.

I sitting here crying as I write this. Alley is only 4 week old, and she is being put to sleep tomorrow. I have only had her for a little over a week, and she has already left a special place in my heart.

Alley was found in my uncles backyard last Saturday. She was stuck in the mud, and almost dead. I took her in, hoping I could nurse her back to health, but to no avail. Apparently she has a birth defect that makes it almost impossible for her to go poo. She was at the E-vet last night, and they said it wasn't fair to keep her alive.
The poor thing is in so much pain right now and is almost lifeless. Its so heartbreaking to see her like this. I really thought I was going to be able to make her better. Its a horrible feeling to know I can't fix her.

Please wish Alley safe and quick passage to the rainbow bridge tomorrow.
Zorro will be waiting for you Alley. I love you.

Oh my God, no! She was doing well I thought.

If it is possible, please get her pts sooner. If she is in so much pain, she needs relief.

God bless you for trying so hard for her. I am broken hearted as well. Give her a kiss from us here.

Life sucks sometimes.

The E-vet is giving me some really good pain meds for her today, and first thing in the morning she is going to my vet.
This E-vet charges around 200 to pts animals, which is not feasable. My vet will charge less than $100. I hate to make her wait, but money is an issue right now. I've already spend well over $400 dollars on her this week.

I thought she was doing well too, but aparently we just delayed the problem by a few days. I'm going to tell my Uncle the bad news today. I know he will be sad. He was really looking forward to keeping her.
She is one very special kitten. Its a shame she wont get better.

I am so sorry - I hope the meds are relieving her pain. It's such a shame, she was so dearly loved by you and your uncle in her short time.

Little Alley's still holding on (see GothAngel's other thread on "kittens").

What, if anything can be done for this little soul I don't know but where there's life, there's hope.

I have asked dear Goddess Bast for her divine intervention for Alley. She helped me so much with Lucy and with other cats who have been very ill.

Whoever your God (or Gods/Goddesses), or non at all are, please send your prayers, healing thoughts for little Alley.

This brave little kitten deserves to live.
