Our D.T. for tuesday

Hey everyone. hope all is well and that the week has started off in a good way.


I'm exhausted. got back from L.A. sunday around 5pm, didn't sleep well & then worked from 7:30 am until 11pm yesterday. back in here at 7:30 this morning. can't wait for this day to end!!!

going to philly tomorrow night after work (it's a 2 hour drive) to see a new artist & then back again in the same night. can't seem to catch up on my R & R. I guess I can sleep when I'm dead



Sandie, how far are you from westpoint? I think we've talked about this but I can't remember. I may be going to westpoint this weekend. I haven't made up my mind yet. not sure I'm going to have the energy, but I would still like to know how close you are, because if I don't get there this weekend, I will eventually.

I was awoken at 5 a.m. , only to find my daughter calling from Australia!

She said she NEVER wants to be on a plane that long again, a kind of unavoidable wish, since she does have to come home!

She is having a good time so far, but has jet lag.

Thought I'd post a picture of both of my kids taken at the airport before departure yesterday. My son wore his "official" garb, as well, seeing as he is an alumnus of this group.

Other than that, I am being studious today. I have some reading to do for both of my classes.

what a fantastic opportunity for your daughter! I didn't go overseas until I was 21. your son looks so much like you! both of them are adorable.

I'm jealous. I wanna go to Europe.

AP Westpoint is about 2 hours and 45 minutes from my town. Yes, if you get a chance I would love for you to drive up here. We would all love to meet you. My offer still stands for staying here.
Today was a very busy day. I took the day off because hubby had something that I had to take him to. Then when I got home I decided I hated my rugs and pulled them all up. It wouldnt have been such an ordeal, but then I had to sweep and mop every room. After I was done with that I decided to rip through my daughters room. Holey cow DID she have a lot og stuff. I even BBQ'd hamburgers for the first time. So now I am ready to sit and relax for the night!! Now if I can just hold back on ripping up the rest of the house

How long are your kids going to be over here for (or is it just your daughter? I got a bit confused...)? I bet you're alreaduy missing them (her?)? Are they (she?) going with a school group or something similar? Speaking from experience, Australia is great! (OK, so maybe I'm just a little biased....)

Anyway, you'll have to give us reports on how they're doing, where they've been and what they've seen.
If they (she?) need(s) anything in Melbourne, let me know!

It's actually just my daughter who is abroad this year. My son traveled to Great Britain with the same group last year. It is a student's organization here in the U.S.

She will be in Australia until July 1. As my Australian geography is more than a little rusty, I can tell you a list of where she will be going, but that's about all. First they are in Darling Harbour. Next is Mooloolaba, Biloela, Airlie Beach, and Yeppoon. I'm sure that means more to you than it does to me.

To everyone else: Oh, you got me. Just wanted to hear all those oohs and ahs over my kids' picture. My son is actually the one who really resembles me. My daughter favors her father.
