Trina is a gorgeous cat
My answer is bicolor domestic shorthair (DSH). The color, I'm not sure. I think it's officially called "dilute red"
which would make her a bicolor dilute-red-and-white DSH. I'm not sure.

10 months old?
She looks BIG for a 10 month old female... that or all the girl kitties I have are small.

Can't really tell the point color from the pics because there's so much white, but my guess is seal tabby point bicolor (domestic shorthair).
She's very cute, I love the little spot on her nose.

Well, when I adopted her in December they said she was 4+ months. I thought she was big for that then. Maybe she's closer to a year. 8 lbs and super sweet. her color started out as light gray and is gradually getting darker

I would say blue or lilac point bi-color short hair.

My Ghost is similar but not as stripey. More splotchy.

He is gray, tan and white with powder blue eyes. I usually call him a Siamese Snowshoe mix.

Colorpoints get darker when the cat matures. What color are her paw pads? If her paws aren't white, you can tell the point color from the pawpads. If they are black/dark brown she is seal, if they are grey she is blue (like AddieBee's kitty), unlikely that she's a lilac point, but then her paw pads would be lavender pink (much darker tone than the pink in whites).

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw no red - I wasn't sure it if was just my monitor or my eyes. I saw grey/lynx point with that tail or a very light seal since that's common in DSHs.

Here's what I think of as a dilute red, it's more obvious IRL as she looks more "peachy" colored.

Was she over 4lbs when you got her? Body/face wise she does look a little closer to or over a year to me. Again, maybe that is because my own 10month olds still look kittenish.
She's cute, though, and obviously a young cat. Maybe it's the angle in the second picture adding a couple pounds to her size?

Yes, she looks like AddieBee's Ghost. Only pic we've found that looks a lot like her. She's definitely gray. She was about 4 lbs when I got her in early December. This a picture of her then. She was rescued from a kill shelter so no one really knew exactly how old she was. I'm wondering if she was more like 6 months when we got her vs. the 4 they told us. She went into heat at the end of December before we could have her spayed. That was an experience I would have preferred not to have! LOL.

thanks for the replies, I was thinking siamese / snowshoe as well. Her eyes are blue. She does look mature, doesn't she.... And there is a bit of brown in her gray fur on the back. Bu it's definitely darkening as she ages. Attachment 14576

She's such a pretty girl. Since she went into heat in December, and that other kitten pic, I would guess that she was 5 months when you got her, give or take a couple weeks. While kittens can have their heats as early as 4 months, 5 or 6 is more common. What sort of kitten hood they had, whether they've been malnourished, can have a bit of an effect.

That would put her at right around a year old.
