Is this worth it or is it just a giant waste of money. (http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...54408&lmdn=Cat

Petsmart had it on sale so I picked it up. Attitude and Nuts are currently on a skin and coat liquid (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...1&pcatid=20201) Vialys lysine, and PlaqueOff plus I just started adding the missing link. I also give them Brewer's yeast tablets in a pill pocket when Attitude isn't sick. (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...6&pcatid=22056)

Am I wasting my money adding the missing link or should I ditch the premium coat stuff and just keep using the missing link? Or am I totally wasting money on all the stuff I give them(minus the Lysine)?

I feed them Solid Gold Indigo Moon, the grain free one (http://www.petco.com/product/109059/...atFood_DryFood) or should I just change their food(I can't afford anything over $32.)

Just need some opinions. Also keep in mind Attitude has a bit of a weight problem(she is 0.5- 1.5 lbs overweight) so I do wonder if I'm packing on the calories with all these supplements.

Honestly if they were 'normal' cats I wouldn't be doing any of this, I just worry abut their health and keeping them around as long as possible.

I will say I have seen Dogs that did do well with it... The ingrediants make me walk away from even tring it .....

Flax seed - in this form Unusuable to the cat and mainly fiber

Black strap molassas - Sugar with some Minnute traces of b vitamins

Rice Bran - FIber

the first three and if they showed up in a food higher than 6th I would wonder...

here is the whole picture

We used it for a few years with my mom's cat, who had some kind of IBS-type poopy trouble. The fiber really did help her. As a source of fiber I think it's pretty good, but for a regular supplement I don't know.

I give it to both of my girls, but we order the veterinary strength from a place online. It has helped their coat texture improve as well as boosted their overall nutritional health. For my kidney girl, it's helped her poops be a bit more regular and consistent.
