No, they are not for scratching! They are for climbing- clearly! Here are a few pics of my kittens being their silly selves, climbing their scratching post, and assorted other activities, lol

Lucy the monkey...I think I can...

...I did it!

Ringo, as the biggest brother, had to out do her. He has all ready mastered the half lidded eyes, the "What are you doing" cat face.

Nap time for the boys. Lennon has the half black face.

They grow up so fast! It seems like just the other day they were tiny little things eating from a bottle, needing baths after every meal... now they clean themselves! Ringo, cleaning his paws after dinner... I'm glad they are at least doing good. Ringo is 3 pounds, Lennon is 2.4 and Lucy is 1.8. We are getting there!

Adorable little boys! Tolly and Mazy climb their scratching post too, it is a good solid sisal one. stands 42 inches tall.

And, like Ringo, they like to perch on it too.

Tolly also climbs the side of the Playhouse I built for them sometimes, instead of jumping up. It, also, is 42 inches high.

That's a great post you have for them. Here's Tolly on his perch. Just think, your little guys will be that big someday!

Haha, they climb anything that they can get on to!!

And Lennon is my favorite (what a bad kitty mommy!) He is a complete cuddle bug, sweetest cat I have ever had. What is HHP?

It amuses us how different their faces are. Especially Lucy- her facial structure is so much different then the boys.

Haha, yes, yes I am. My mice are named Sadie and Penny, we thought the kitties should continue the theme!

We were actually very worried at miss Lucy at first, even the vet thought she might have been deprived of oxygen at birth, and would always be a....slow kitten. She is about a month behind her brothers in everything... playing, self grooming, size... Plus her head looked so funny to us, as she is shaped entirely different. Now she is good to go, and a cutie though!
