We had Nosey from birth to 19 years old. He was a wonderful boy. He had one brown eye and one blue eye. He was soooo fat! Over 20lbs. I called him Fatty Fat Faterson, LOL
I wish I had a pic of him on the computer but I dont. But he was very pretty.
Anyway, I could see his decline but I was in denial of it. He started by peeing on the char, you could see he was blind in one eye, probably cateracts. Then all of a sudden he started losing weight real fast, that is when I snapped out of my denial and kept a close watch on him and I knew that day was it. I held him and cried, I called my hubby to come home from work right away. We layed on the floor petting him. Luckily as it should happen this way, I had just got a card in the mail called Care Credit and I had a 300.00 limit I could use for dental or veterinary. So we rushed Nosey to the vet, we knew he wouldnt make it but we brought him anyway. They took us to a nice room real cozy and pretty. The doc (sweet lady) gave him the shot and we held him as he passed. It was sooo hard! But thanks to this card we were able to get the Care package, it consists of his ashes in a velvet purple bag put in a white can with paw prints, and a heart shaped mold with his paw print, name and date of death. Those things really helped us through.
