Last weekend at the Southern Region Awards Show, my smoke Egyptian Mau girl, Mimesis Dance the Calypso Espresso took Best Kitten in half the rings--3 AB and one SP. Her silver sister, Mimesis Dance the Tango, also made three AB finals (5th, 8th, and 9th) and one SP final (5th).

We had our photos done by the talented Larry Johnson. I should be able to post them in a few weeks.

Thank you, GK I also really love Espresso's color, contrast, and clarity. She's a real joy to show, too.

We've got four weekends left in our kitten career, and it looks like she has a decent chance at a regional kitten win. If she does it. . . and what a wonderful thing if she does. . . she will be the first RW of my own breeding. It's going to be a lot of work, but we have to aim for the stars here. Wish us lots of luck and send lots of vibes over the next several weekends! We're going to need all of it!
