Morning!!

Yet again I have a furry girl on my lap...It makes it a little difficult to type..I have to type one letter with one finger at a time

Off to work in a bit. It's a little rainy right now but it should be sunny later on.

A good friend of mine is coming for the weekend, she is sleeping over like the old days! I can't wait! We are going to go shopping and watch a scary movie!

Nothing much here. It's a beautiful sunny morning today. Breezy and not real hot yet....this weekend, we are to see hazy, hot, and humid conditions, with temps in the mid-90s. It's pool time!

Work, work, and more work.

It's rainy and miserable here today.

I finally got my billing done here at work and I'm pretty sure I didn't screw up too much.

So everything is still a go for the tattoo this evening.

Morning, it's actually sunny out this morning! Still hazy though. And humid. But at least it was not as hard to get out of bed like when it's grey and gloomy.

So it looks like my mom (who lives in your neck of the woods) missed out on the respite from the mega hot & humid mugginess with her short trip to Knoxville Tuesday-Friday... she'll be back just in time for the grossness...

Anyway, BF and I are skipping the Hopheads 'meeting' tonight, because I'm sure every single bar with a TV will be packed with Lakers fans for the basketball final.We both don't like basketball, and we don't want to deal with stupid crow ds. So we went out for a few beers last night instead, and I'm going to cook tonight. I made coleslaw yesterday, which should be better today with more marinating time, and I'll make BBQ tempeh sandwiches, and if it doesn't get too hot, I'll stick some fries in the oven. I can't wait!

Also I'm doing my weekly inspection today, still deciding whether to go this morning (soon) or this afternoon. Can't do it tomorrow, because I'll be watching World Cup games in the morning (possibly going to the brewpub downtown for the USA-Slovenia game at 6:45AM

, you know, because I'm such a morning person), and then we have our home inspection in the afternoon!

It is hot again in Eastern NC. We did get rain which was much needed for the crops and peoples flowers etc. Just an ordinary day for me with grocery shopping and laundry to do. Have fun everyone.

Good evening

Got out of work early today and relaxed for a bit. Joined a fitness forum to get tips on eating better and exercising to tighten and tone my abs. Got a goal for when the car comes to look sexy!

And maybe then hubby will take more pics of me

Went healthy-food shopping tonight and we're both excited to make changes in our habits!

So glad tomorrow is Friday, ready for the weekend. Hopefully some beach and the drag strip are in order. Depends on the crazy weather.
