I noticed Scooter smacking and growling at Fluffy yesterday, and stopped in the kitchen to check it out. She was standing at the water dispenser with her front paws soaking in the water and apparently Scooter took exception to that. She was just standing there, looking very pleased with herself. I have never seen a cat soak their paws, Has anyone else?

That is adorable! I've only heard of one other cat that could stand being in water, and this was my nieces cat that would stand in the water (if it was low) as she took baths. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen. \t

Now she has another new thing. I was taking a nap, it's my day off, and she came up and laid down with me. After awhile of regular head pets, she flopped over on her back and patted her belly with a paw. I rubbed it a little, expecting to be bitten, and she got all blissed out. After a few minutes, she stuck her back feet under my hand, lifted it up, grabbed it with her front paws, and pushed it back up to her head. It was so funny, such a smooth motion. She did it several more times before she took a snooze. Silly girl!

Closest I've seen is Lucy getting into the shower after I'm done and sitting there. Of course, she ends up spending the next half hour grooming her tail and behind.

Aww, Fluffy sounds like a sweetheart. And, a bit silly as well! For me, that would be the perfect combo
.

I have one kitty who likes to play in water. My 8 month old kitten, Finn, loves to play in and with water. I have numerous cat fountains in the home and he is forever sticking his furry little paws into them. I go through filters like no tomorrow with that boy! And, I know it drives my other cats absolutely insane -- especially when they're trying to get a drink!

Finnegan is also my snuggler and cuddler. Wherever I am, he is. And, it's not just me. He is like that with everyone! But, while he doesn't manipulate my hand into petting him where he wants to be pet, but he does flop everywhere just begging for a hand to reach out and scritch or stroke him. He's such a silly, lovey boy...and I love him for that!

It sounds like Fluffy is always there to give you a laugh. The fact that she's also a sweetheart just makes her doubly special

Now that's a girl who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it!
Gotta love those silly girls.
