My cat isn't feeling well...he couldn't walk on his back legs this morning for alittle while ( 2 mins )...but then he ate and all seemed fine...talk about guilt..I thought what the hell am I starving my cat ? Am I not giving him enough food....but he eats the same as my other 4 cats...3 are a good weight 2 could loose a pound or two..Anyways the fact he felt good after he ate I thought I'd wait and see how he feels b4 rushing him to the vets...He slept for 3 hrs then it was time for him to eat his reg meal....He ate 2/3's of it....which I expected cause I let him eat as much as he wanted earlier in the day...Anyways after he ate he went right back to sleep...His walking seems fine ...I WILL take him to the vets tomorrow if he hasn't improved but I was wondering if anyone has any idea's this evening as to what it could be..or thing I should be looking for ?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Loss of function in his back legs can be very serious, even if it was only for a few minutes. I would recommend you take him to the vet for a check up. There could be some going on in his central nervous system that could get worse and maybe even become permanent. I really hope it was nothing but better to be safe.
Good luck to you!

The more I think about it the more I think it was over all weakness....front and back legs....it happened fast and I picked him up right away...but after a few mins I put him down and he walked to the food cupboard...not sure if that makes any difference .

I thought diabetes also. I would definately get him to vet asap. Weakness is a sign of possible serious stuff.

It sounds like he had a low blood sugar episode. Had he eaten his regular dinner the night before? If not, it may be understandable, but if he did eat normally I'd get him to the vet. Sugar crashes like that are usually a sign of something serious. Could be diabetes or other pancreatic problem.
