I don't want to get a head of myself but last night smokie did not puke
I've been giving him moist cat food once in the morning and once at night.

However I've been TRYING to get him away from the dry stuff. But yesterday and Saturday we were gone all day. Put him in the small bathroom in the basement with some wet, and when we'd come home we'd find him in the basement sitting on one of the counters! First we thought it was the toilet he was getting onto. We are redoing the bathroom and the toilet was out and upside down. We took that out and then Yesterday he STILL got out. We think he's jumping on the water softener and then climbing out over the edge of the wall. There's a enough space for him to do that.

So he probably got the dry food during those two days while we were gone because we left it out for the other cats to eat from.

But Saturday morning there were two little puke spots but no blood and no food (been pulling the food dish up at night too). And this morning I went down into the basement and NO throw up spots. I was absolutely giddy. Hopefully his tum-tums is now getting better! Today is day one. So lets hope it continues to day two!

Thanks to everyone in here for their advise and help

I missed it. He did throw up in the litter box. But there was no blood, so I'm still happy. Otherwise he seems happy and healthy. I'm not sure when he threw up in the litter box. I thought I looked this morning so it could have been that the food might have been too cold yet from the fridge and he threw it up. But there was NO blood. So that is VERY good!

I'm pretty sure that he threw it up this morning because for the past 45 minutes when I was on various phone calls he was harassing me like he was hungry. So I gave him what he had left from breakfast and heated it up a bit and he dug into it. He must have been starving after throwing up. lol

Day two no sign of him throwing up.
He's been put on all wet food right now. Not sure if I'll be able to go back to dry at all for him. But I think in a month or so I may try giving him a little dry at noon and see how he does with it. If he throws it up I'll know he has to be on wet food permanently.

Thanks everyone for their
& !

So glad it's going so well. Wet food is better anyway.

It's the little things in life
Franklin is now up to 3 1/2 weeks since his last cookie toss. He was on an every other day/every day schedule.
