Morning folks!

So, hubby is back home, thankfully!

It was nice to have him in bed last night and wake up next to him. He is going away again next weekend though, but hopefully just for one day.

Off to work I go in a few..I am dog tired. I picked DH up last night at 11pm, and we didn't get to bed until past midnight because we were catching up.

Yawn!

I think we are going to his grandmas for dinner tonight...hopefully not too late!

Morning!

Got back from Virginia yesterday around noon; it's been a long weekend. But everything went off without a hitch and the newlyweds (our nephew and new niece) will be leaving for Tahiti this morning for a two-week honeymoon (DH threatened to stow-away in a trunk as he's always wanted to go to Tahiti).

The rehearsal dinner was at a winery and we all had a great time. The wedding was at a golf resort; it was outside and we did have a 30-minute delay due to thunderstorms, but other than that, it was just lovely.

We did manage to get to Trader Joe's on Saturday morning....I know, I know, most people would go to the tourist spots. Me, I hit TJ's and Penzeys whenever I can. Happens every time!

So....back in office and I have a planning commission meeting right after work today.

You must have been in Richmond? I've been the the TJ's there. Penzey's is less that 1 miles from where I work so its an easy stop.

Walking up with a super painfull stiff back. In fact I'm icing now which seems a bit better.
Worked at commercial account yesterday edging sidewalks and I must have lifted one bucket load too many into the back of the truck-the soil is so wet from all the rain. Had about a yard in the truck box which I then had to shovel out. Then yard work at home which in hindsigh tI shouldn't have done.

Hopefully the icing and ibuprofen should help. Not ding any gardening for a day or to either.

Off for a couple of errands before workat 10 am then a stop at the grocery store after work.

Bender has the rips around the house as I didn't let him do his walkabout the yard this morning.

Helping mom get a car today! We're going to pick it up and get it all licensed and insured and everything. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! She hasn't had a car since Christmas - other than a brief week a few months ago, but that car died - so we're super excited.

Then off to Wendy's land for work. Meh...

Morning everyone!

We had a great weekend.

Yesterday there was a big surprise for my Grandparent's 25th wedding anniversary. They were SO surprised. Last week I took them out for a photoshoot just for fun and we surprised them with a framed "then and now" portrait. It was a lot of fun!

Just here at work today enjoying the slowness as tomorrow billing starts which means I will be crazy busy for the rest of the week.

Can't wait to curl up and watch the newest True Blood episode tonight!

We were in the Haymarket area. The Winery at La Grange was the location of the rehearsal dinner.....what a lovely place! I liked the resort for the wedding, too, but I'd go back to La Grange in a heartbeat.

We stayed in Centreville, about 20 miles away from the winery and golf resort. TJ's was just down the road from our hotel.

There's a Penzeys in Falls Church and another one in Richmond. I'm not sure which one DH was looking at. Suffice to say that he didn't know if we could find it, shop, and get back in time to change for the wedding. Darn it.

Gail, I hope your back is feeling better.

Morning... I've had enough of the June Gloom here in SoCal. I am not used to the humidity anymore!!!I should not be sweating when it's 65 degrees out!

It's supposed to get to about 80 later on though which will be nice, except not so nice in the apartment, it will probably feel more like 95.

So far I watched the end of the Japan-Cameroon World Cup game... did a bit of cleaning, exciting stuff. I have to go to the bank and grocery store (probably Trader Joe's actually), and I think that's it. SOON I will have to resume packing (I hope!!), after the appraisal and home inspection get done this week on the house we're buying... I really hope it all works out with this one, I am so ready to move!!

I'm at work. Have a full clinic today, so I'm rather busy. Just having a quick bite before getting back to seeing patients.

Not much planned for later other than to take out my garbage, finish up my lemon chicken and do a load of laundry. Hope to be in bed by 9pm! Man, I have such an exciting life!!
