New kitten

I just brought home a 6wk old kitten from my uncles house. The kittens were born and lived outside - his mom is a full time outside cat. They were feeding the kitten/cat Meow Mix original.

I feed my current adult cats TOTW and Wellness dry and Avo wet. I bought a new brand-Lotus-for the kitten, he is eating that but keeps going for my adult cat food. The Lotus is a large shape and seems hard to chew.

He has some runny poo & gas -he was wormed and given something for parasites this past week. I am not sure if it is all due to the meds or if some of it is from the food? The Lotus is corn/wheat free which I thought was more digestible? Can a cat have issues with barley & rice but be ok with corn?

My last kitten is now 3. We fed her RC Babycat 34 or Nutro kitten (though I think the nutro gave her runny poo).

TOTW is an all-life-stages food, so if he wants to eat that he'll be OK. EVO is, too (is that what you meant? It says Avo in your post and I've never heard of that brand). I'm not sure about Wellness, you can check the bag. Pretty much anything is better than Meow Mix, that's for sure.

If the kibbles of the kitten food are too big, you can add water to soften them. Don't let it sit around, though; moistened food spoils quickly.
